Our first day of school is Thursday, August 29. On that morning, the students will meet their teachers at predetermined spots. All parents received notification of meeting spots on August 27, 2024.

What to Bring

Students are expected to bring a well-fitting backpack, a water bottle to fill up at our classroom sink or bottle filling station, and sturdy indoor runners for wearing in the classroom and gym.   

We will be doing a lot of learning outdoors and it will be important for your child to always be dressed for the weather. Students are asked to leave toys, devices, trading cards and other personal items at home.  

Entry and Exit

Our Entry and Exit doors have also been assigned. Please note that if you are late for pick up, a call to the office would be best so we can bring your child to wait at the office.

Students need to be at school and ready for learning in the class by 8:55 am. Dismissal is at 3:35 pm Monday - Thursday and at 12:50 pm on Fridays.

We have supervision on the play park from 8:45 am - 8:55 am daily. If students come earlier than 8:45 am, they need to be supervised by a parent/caregiver.

Lunch and Snacks 

Students are encouraged to bring a healthy snack to eat during our nutrition break.  A granola bar or a piece of fruit are great options. As we are a nut-aware school and there are peanut allergies in our classrooms, we ask that no lunches or snacks contain peanuts or nuts.  Students are not permitted to share food.  Litterless lunches are highly recommended.

Our students are supervised in classes with a lunch supervisor. They have 20 minutes to eat, 5 minutes to get ready to go outside and 20 minutes of play time.

Communication

On Sundays we send a Weekly Update to inform families of upcoming events and news from the school. Classroom teachers also send a weekly emails sharing curriculum updates and important reminders.

School Supplies & Fees

All school supplies have been ordered and will be accessible for your child on the first day of school.  Please check your MyCBE account in mid-September to see all applicable supply, noon supervision and transportation fees.  Fees are only paid online through your MyCBE account. Waivers are accessible through your MyCBE account as well if required.

Open House

We will be hosting an Open House/Meet the Teacher evening from 6:00 – 7:00 pm on Thursday, September 26th.
