Registration at Calgary Board of Education (CBE) schools is not determined on a first come, first served basis. Registration and admission to schools in CBE is governed by the Education Act and Administrative Regulation 6090 | Child and Student Registration and Admission.
Our Kindergarten Program
Kindergarten at Dr. Freda Miller School takes an Outdoor and Land-Based learning approach that incorporates Indigenous knowledge systems alongside traditional western ways of knowing. We are inspired by Reggio, inquiry, and play-based learning approaches for teaching and learning to honour holistic approaches to child well-being and achievement.
We currently offer a half day kindergarten program with classes in the morning or afternoon Monday through Thursday and alternating Friday mornings.
