I hope everyone had a lovely weekend. The weather is certainly keeping us on our toes with the beautiful sunshine on Saturday, strong winds today and the possibility of snow tomorrow. The energy in the air with students does feel more like spring though!

Thank you to our parent volunteers for supporting the most recent Fun Lunch. Our volunteers make all the difference in ensuring things run smoothly.

Spring Forward – Daylight Savings

A friendly reminder that our clocks sprung forward an hour this weekend.

Evergreen Theatre

Our students had the opportunity to enjoy Evergreen Theatre this week. Their performance was titled, Through the Looking Glass: Alice’s Alberta Energy Adventure. Thank you to our Dr. Freda Miller School Society for supporting the performance through fundraising dollars.

Upcoming Parent/Teacher Conferences

We very much look forward to connecting with parents to share your child’s celebrations and next steps for learning. Due to the CUPE strike, all conferences will be held online.

Conferences will be held on Thursday, March 20^th from 4:30 to 8:00 pm for all grade 1 to 5 families, and from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm for our Kindergarten families. There will be conferences on Friday, March 21^st for all families from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Please note there is school on Thursday for all students and NO school on Friday for all students.

Ms. McGregor will be holding her conferences on Monday, March 10^th and Tuesday, March 11^th from 4:30 pm to 8:00 pm. They will also be online.

The conference manager will open at 9:00 am on Wednesday, March 12 and close at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, March 19^th.
Please book a conference with your child’s teacher using the CBE on-line School Conference system which is available under your My CBE/Power School Account.

As conferences are now being held online, the scholastic book fair has been cancelled.
