The CBE Dates of Significance Events Calendar

We are looking forward to Ms. Elan La Montagne joining us this week as our new principal. All students were introduced to her last week and parents who are volunteering for Fun Lunch will get to say hello. Please consider joining us at the next school council meeting on Thursday February 20, 2025 at 6:00 pm.

Online Report Cards

  • We hope that families have read report cards with their children.  Report cards can be viewed, downloaded and/or printed from your MyCBE account.
  • Parents and Guardians can sign in to MyCBE to view student information, including report cards, and attendance information. For best access to information, log in to the MyCBE  portal instead of using the PowerSchool App.

Need Help?

Check out these videos for more information on how to log in and navigate the portal when you have more than one child attending CBE schools.

Kindness Month and Valentine Exchange

  • February is Kindness month, and as a school we are continuing to build connections within our school and wider community.  Each grade team and classroom will be planning activities throughout the month that will focus on lifting up others, building our own self-esteem and participating in anti-bullying lessons culminating in our Pink Shirt Day assembly on February 28.
  • If your child wishes to participate in exchanging Valentine cards, they may do so during the last period of the day on February 12, 2025 .
  • Please ensure that every child in the class will receive a card
  • For ease of exchange, address to “Dear friend” and have your child sign their name on as many cards as there are children in the class.
  • Please send only cards (no candy or items attached)
  • Students will bring home Valentines they receive in their backpacks.
  • Teachers have sent home a memo with the number of children in each class.

Kindergarten Registration for the 2025-2026 year

  • You may register your child for kindergarten for the 2025 – 2026 school year as long as your child turns five years old on or before December 31, 2025.
  • We run a half day program – either morning or afternoon.
  • One way busing is available to those students who are beyond the walk zone in Evergreen or reside in Walden.  It is available to parents at a cost. The CBE does not provide mid-day busing for Kindergarten students.
  • Please review the information on our Registration page to register for kindergarten and follow the instructions.
