The Lost and Found is overflowing
- Please see the images attached to see if any of the items belong at your home.
- Unclaimed items will either go to our Outdoor Great Lending Library or to charity mid-month.
- If your child forgets their jacket or hoodie on the playground you might want to return to find it. Not all items left outside overnight are recovered.
Outdoor Gear and Black Plastic Planting Pots are still needed!
- If you are cleaning out closets and have used winter/rain boots or winter/rain jackets in good condition, we would love to have you donate them to us here at the school. This will help us create an Outdoor Gear Lending Library.
- If you have black plastic nursery plant pots that you have used and no longer need, we are collecting them at school to donate to the Friends of Fish Creek Nursery for their Native Plant Species Program.
The Yield to Pedestrian Sign is Missing
We were so happy to see the installation of the “Yield to Pedestrian Sign” on the crosswalk. Unfortunately, the sign was removed from the asphalt last weekend.

The CBE Dates of Significance Events Calendar
- The Calgary Board of Education strives to ensure that all our schools are safe and caring places for all students and staff. As a public school, we welcome and celebrate students from diverse backgrounds, perspectives and beliefs.
- The CBE is committed to building a culture of appreciation and inclusion, where students and staff can see themselves valued, respected and celebrated.
- Days and months of significance are identified by the provincial and federal governments to raise awareness and action about historical, cultural and equitable practices. This calendar identifies some of the significant days of recognition and celebration within the CBE community.
