Weekly Update - March 8th, 2026

A women's strength is in the tears she lets fall when

she's holding on to the last ounce of energy.

It's in her wide warms that can contain everyone's

contradictions, children's growth,

and endless chores.

It's in how she protects her children, her friends, and

her family, how she weathers any storm and still says,

'Of course I have time for you,'

with grace and patience.

It's in how she holds you and the world on her

shoulders and still makes it look

absolutely effortless.

The strength of a women is

what glues this world together.

~ Barbara Gianquitto

Happy International Women’s Day! Thank you to all the amazing women working together to make this community so great. We appreciate each of you.

I am reminded of the power in the collective coming together to support and learn to understand one another. It is amazing to know that together, we can create a school community where everyone can find their way to being their best possible self. In my role, I do a lot of problem solving with students and most often, incidents arise when we misunderstand one another or our emotions take charge. When we can find space to listen and understand, to show grace and patience, and to support, then most often students can find their way to solve any incident. It is my hope that, carefully and thoughtfully, we can create this kind of space for all our community to thrive.
